EGX 2014 - What an Adventure!

And so we're back... from outer space! No not really, but we are back from EGX 2014 in London!

And what an adventure we had! We met hundreds of fans, and gained hundreds more! Met some celebrities, did some interviews, and generally had a busy, exhausting but fun and exhilarating time!

Special thanks to all the people who helped on our booth! We couldn't have done it without your help! People were saying ours was the most fabulous booth in the show!

Kitty was on top form, she played some games around the show (she had to change her knickers after Alien Isolation!), took part in, and then judged the Cosplay the following day!

She also gatecrashed the EGX Developer Sessions and introduced the Tearaway Unfolded demo! What a cheeky mare!

We also played a lot of quizzes with some lucky fans so that they could win exclusive Kitty Powers T-shirts, and gave away 4000 badges! Have you got one?

And of course we took a lot of pictures. Kitty loves a selfie! Are you in there somewhere?

The excitement is building! The people are asking! Will I be able to see Kitty Powers? Can I fight through her hordes of fans? Will they fit her hair through the door?

Well all these questions and more will be answered (and probably a lot more asked) in just TWO DAYS when EGX 2014 opens its doors!

We just wanted to draw your attention to a fabulous blog post written by Janine Hawkins (@bleatingheart) on the New World Notes blog.

Ms' Hoopburn' has clearly eaten too much spicy food...

She goes into what sets Kitty Powers' Matchmaker apart from other dating games and makes it so unique!

We love it when players post their analysis, and have clearly played the game and understood all the thought that's gone into it. It makes all our hard work worthwhile!

Kitty Powers' Matchmaker Update - Avatar Letters!

Hello again Kittens!

We're pleased to tell you that the update for Kitty Powers' Matchmaker goes live today on both Apple and Android devices.

In fact the iOS build is already live, and the Android update will be available later today.

This update includes a bunch of bug fixes, plus an improvement to the Avatar data system, which means that you should see more Avatar letters than you did previously.

An Avatar Letter!

The way Avatar Letters work is that when your anonymous avatar is being sent on dates by other players, the data is uploaded to our database. When enough data has been collected, the 'Love-O-Tron' algorithm calculates who your 'Dream Date' would be and also who you should avoid!

You won't get more than one letter a day, and your avatar will need to have been on enough dates before enough data will be generated, so everybody should update and get dating so we can all find out who our 'Dream Date' is! How exciting!
