Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Strategies!

Hiya, Kittens! Here I am, Kitty Powers, back with some super handy strategies for all you eager speed dating beavers out there!

Well, it’s quite a big topic, but you can break it down into two strategies. The first, and probably the less risky method, is to ask each candidate a question or two, which earns you points, and then make a quick decision based on their answers, AND their appearance. With some trickier candidates, you may need to ask more questions, but better that than to lose your huge x10 multiplier! And remember, the more questions you ask during the date event, the more information will be revealed when it comes to Decision Time, increasing your chance of finding the best match!

The second strategy is to only go by the appearance of a candidate, and not ask any questions, or at least only ask a question when it’s absolutely necessary. This method is fast, but you risk losing your hard-earned x10 multiplier if you get it wrong, because as the saying goes, sometimes you can’t judge a book by it’s cover! This method could get you a huge score, if you get a lot of Insights, AND you can find the Best Match at Decision Time!

Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Yay or Nay Mode!

Hi Kittens! It’s me, Kitty Powers! I’m here with fabulous news!

We’ve got a brand new game mode - Yay or Nay! Incredibubbles! It’s all happening in our Valentine’s Day update on Thursday the 7th, so not long to wait! Also, and just as excitingly, there are brand new character creation face options! More about that in a moment!

Create a character based on the upcoming theme!

Let’s get down to business, shall we? ‘Yay or Nay’ mode is in two parts, Create and Vote! Firstly, you get to create a character, based on the upcoming Theme, which is submitted and will be voted on by other players! The Themes last 4 days (Mon-Thurs) and 3 days (Fri-Sun). Now’s a good time to mention the new mouth and eyebrow options at your disposal (unibrow, for example)! Just imagine! Your custom characters will be even more personalised than ever before! Don’t say I never spoil you, Kittens!

The second part of ‘Yay or Nay’ mode is that you get to vote for other players’ creations in the current theme by clicking ‘Yay or Nay’ for each character!

Does the character fit the criteria? Yay or Nay!

The voting continues until the end of the current theme, then the winning characters are announced with super generous rewards for the top entries! Just click View to see the last theme’s winners! OMG! It’s so exciting!

Don’t forget, you earn XP and boost your Love Rank just by voting for other players’ characters, and you can vote in up to 30 rounds over the current theme! Hurray!

Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Bonuses!

Hello, Kittens! It’s me, Kitty Powers! I hope you’re all enjoying the recent updates, making lots of friends and sending each other on speed dates! Anyway, I just want to make sure you all know how to maximise your coin, XP and Kitty pearl bonuses, so I’m going to give you a quick run down!

Firstly, there’s a lovely new button which tells you the rewards for the Client of the Day or the global leader board rewards! It’s a small button marked with an ‘i’ for information! Yes! That’s it! Just click to find out the rewards! How useful!

Quick! Tap that flying coin!

As you probably know, you earn coins and XP at the end of the date, when your rewards are tallied up. You can also earn extra coins by clicking on my pussy, Regina, whenever you see her during a date, or by clicking the coins that fly across the screen! Not only that, but you can earn extra pearls when you see them flying across the screen! You’ve got to be quick to catch a pearl, though, as they are very fast!

Another way to earn extra goodies is by watching an advertisement at the end of the date! The better your performance, the better the rewards you receive! Just think of all those lovely free goodies!

Complete missions for extra in-game rewards!

Yet another way to earn extra loot is to complete missions for me! Each mission has it’s own rewards. Just take a look at the missions by clicking on the missions button in the home screen! It all just keeps getting better and better!

Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Updates 1.3 and 1.4

Hello kittens! Kitty Powers’ Speed Date is being updated to version 1.4 on iOS and Android today to clear up any issues from the previous update.

Here is a change list from both updates :-)

1.3

- Detailed online love rank information - see how many crowns, medals and trophies you’ve won!

- Candidates (and clients in your queue) wear appearance items that you’ve unlocked!

- Updated the booster screen layout.

- Added the amount of time until the star bar resets at the end of the date.

- Fixed a bug where the player’s level didn’t display on the online player screen.

- Fixed a bug where missions didn’t reset until looking at the missions screen.

- Fixed a bug where the speed date multiplier value could decrease when the ‘2x multiplier booster’ expired.

- Fixed a bug where the level up sequence would break when levelling up after reaching prestige level 1, and fixed some other small bugs related to reaching a prestige level.

- Removed the green tick from colour options when changing a characters appearance, as it caused confusion about which items could be selected.

- Other small fixes and improvements.

- Take a look around the 'Locations' screen by scrolling up and down!

- Friends can be removed from your friends list.

Kitty Powers' Speed Date - Friends!

Well, hello there, Kittens! It’s me again, Kitty Powers, the one and only drag queen game developer extraordinaire, and Global Lovemonger Supreme! I do hope you are all enjoying playing my new game, Kitty Powers’ Speed Date, and sharing it with all your friends!

A bustling friends list! (Names blurred to protect the innocent!)

Talking of friends, I’d like to remind you that you can add anyone on the high score leader board as a friend! Just click on their name in the table and click ‘send friend request’ in their profile! Once they’ve accepted your friend request, or you’ve accepted theirs, you will appear in each others’ friend lists. You can then track each others’ progress, and send each other on dates, or even enter them in the Love-o-tron 3000 compatibility checker! Wow! There’s so much you can do when you have friends!

When you send a friend on a date, your score will be entered on that friend’s leader board, and you can also see any other friends’ high scores. You can send a friend on a date once a day, so make it count and compete for the top spot! Oh yes! You can also win a lovely in-game reward for every friend, so the more friends you have, the more rewards you can earn! Fantasticles! The reward you receive will depend on your performance, of course!

Anyway, there’s so much to do when you have a bustling friends list, so make sure you add as many people as possible! It’s just like real life, isn’t it, Kittens!
